(Coop-Hits Manual Campaign) Question: I have 2 positions so should i enter 20 urls, but the site administration only allows 10 urls. do i get to enter 10 more or not. - Michael Patrick -

Answer: Where you add your urls is just one of the many rotators your url(-) is in. We always ask to fill the ten slots - even by promoting only one url - in order to have that particular rotator working at its best. Then we manually add your url(-) into the other rotators.
For this reason the live stats you see are just related to one rotator and we have to manually add the hits received in the other ones once a day.
For the same reason if you change your url it might take one day until it is changed in all rotators, that's why we suggest to send us and email by every url change.

(Affiliate) Question: I don't really have a PayPal account or a Alertpay account. Do you payout via liberty reserve or paper check? - Ryan Ginster -

Answer: I could send you a check but it would be of a Spanish bank, since we are based in the Canary Islands. You'd better check with your bank first how much they will charge you in fees. Another option would be to send you the money per Western Union or MoneyGram, but seen the high basic fees they charge, you'd better accumulate more commissions or else it wouldn't be worth it.
I think i could also send you the money to the nearest post office, just let me know your location and i'll ask. The fees should be lower.

Coop-Hits.com - Campaign Hints

Some hints to make the best out of your Coop-Hits Campaign:

1. Fill the ten available url spots. If you intend to promote only one url, just enter it 10 times.

If you are running an autohit campaign and you own the promoted domain, adding different pages of the same domain usually leads to best benefits - for search engines ranking purposes.

2. Depending on how many Positions you bought, your URL(s) will be entered in dozens - even hundreds - of our rotators. You will see live stats of ONLY ONE of those, the one where you enter your urls. Full stats will be updated every 24 hours +/-.

3. You may edit your urls during the campaign but changes will need up to 24 hours to take effect, since new urls need to be manually approved and loaded to rotators. A short email, can help speed up this operation.

4. By default your campaign will we spread in one month. You may request it to run quicker - even just a few days! - or slower, depending on your needs.

5. If you use trackers, please be aware that trackers are not always very precise. Many tend to ignore visits in frames: most of our rotators have a frame and traffic exchange surfing bars ARE frames. Some might consider only unique hits: we don't send unique hits. Some count the hit after the page is fully loaded, thus ignoring visits from users using analogical or gprs modem or users that have set some limit to their browser loading function, in order to increase speed.
To better track the number of visits received, we always suggest the use of a fast-loading banner exchange code, placed in the upper half of the site. They are usually more reliable... and you earn some extra exposure ;)

Some banner exchange program use also smaller banners, for example little invading 88x31 buttons. If you use those, make sure you use a busy banner exchange, one that don't risk to run out of smaller banner! For example Bannerbeast.

6. If you opened a subscription, after your sixth payment you will get one or more Positions for free (the same number of Positions you subscribed for or the average of - if you changed subscription in that period).

How to Buy

The regular way is to go to each product's sales page and follow the buy link corresponding to the product you want to buy and the payment processor you want to use.

The easier way is probably to go to your payment processor's account page and send the money to sales @coop-hits.com (Paypal, Alertpay, Ipago). E-gold account number is 666701. We are not accepting Moneybookers at the moment.

For all the above the buyer has no fees to pay.

You may also pay per Western Union, Moneygram or similar services or make a bank deposit. In those cases all fees are on you. Contact admin @coop-hits.com for details.

Three types of banner advertising

We have the possibility to insert banners on tens of thousands of sites, through our direct and indirect advertising accounts and coop banner exchange accounts. There are three kind of banner advertising:

1. Banner impressions: you buy banner exposures. That's very cheap and has no guarantee how many times the banner will be clicked on. You usually buy those if you want your brand to be known. Regardless if many people will click or not, you want people to see your logo or company name everywhere.

2. Incentivized banner clicks: surfer will be rewarded (with cash or advertising credits) to click on your banner and stay at least 20 seconds. You don't need a good banner there - anything will do. Of course usually people aren't much interested at the content of the site they see.

3. Non-incentivized banner clicks: banner impressions likewise, but you only pay for clicks (impressions are free until the purchased amount of clicks is reached). Here you need a VERY GOOD banner because you want people to click on it. So the banner needs to capture surfer's attention and also has to tell exactly what your site is all about in order not to waste clicks.

Banner impressions: you buy banner exposures. That's very cheap and has no guarantee how many times the banner will be clicked on. You usually buy those if you want your brand to be known. Regardless if many people will click or not, you want people to see your logo or company name everywhere.

500,000 impressions = 25 U$
1 million impressions = 50 U$
5 million impressions = 240 U$
10 million impressions = 450 U$
50 million impressions = 1,950 U$
That's for banner size 468X60 - max. 15k

Other sizes are possible: the smaller, the cheaper (250X72 80%, 180X100 60%, 120X60 50%, 88X31 20%) - but also slower to deliver and usually lower click rate.

Manual hits or autohits?

Theoretically, if you look for people to know your site and/or products, your preference should be for manual traffic. If your goal is to achieve better rankings, you should turn to autohits.

In reality, a good advertising campaign includes everything: manual traffic, autohits, text and banner exposure, etc.

HINT:
if you want to promote an affiliate page, you don't need autohits. In fact in most cases, if you DO NOT own the domain, you are just wasting your money.
On the other end, if you DO own the domain, you should try to receive autohits on all the pages of your site.

What is Coop Advertising?

The concept behind coop advertising is simple: to buy large lots of advertising from many sites at wholesale price and share the cost among many people.
Every participant buys a package of advertising - which we call at Coop-Hits.com "Positions" - depending on their needs and budget. Positions left unsold is used for self-promotion.

The result is that members buy advertising much cheaper and receive traffic from a large variety of sources. In addition they don't take all the risks and discomfort related to buying advertising by themselves from many different sites.

When you buy advertising from one site you need to test it first. You usually first do a small order to see how it goes. This takes time and it's expensive. If you buy advertising from just one site it's not a big problem but if you need it from dozens - or hundreds! - of sites, you are ready for some serious head ache. What can go wrong?

1. The site that you buy advertising from needs ages to deliver the purchased advertising. We had sites needing years to deliver just a few thousands of hits or a handful of banner clicks.

2. The site disappears before they could deliver the traffic you bought: the business was not so good, the domain expired and wouldn't be renewed. You can't believe how many times this happens!

3. You look at your stats and all you got are visits from China! Now, i have nothing against the glorious People of China but most of those visits come from robots used to surf traffic exchanges and similar sites to earn credits and money with no sweat. And the few real (Chinese) visitors buy nothing.

If you buy coop advertising you don't need to worry about all this: others take the chore and the risks of testing sites.
